Passport to Broadway Musical Theater Workshop & Performance is a customizable, immersive and an ultimate Broadway education experience. Offering International students a chance to experience, first hand, the best live Broadway Musical Theater interactive education programs, taught by the best, highly trained Broadway specialists. It allows students to experience the intensive training of a professional, successful and highly disciplined Broadway Artist and the skills required in collaboration, interrelation and communication.
Through challenging music, dance, acting and, most importantly, the unique art form of “putting it all together”, Passport to Broadway prepares students to be highly competitive in whatever career they choose to pursue as well as prepare for the best universities and career opportunities possible. Through challenging music, dance, acting and “behind the scenes” studies physically, verbally and intuitively, we help prepare them for competitive careers in theater, life, help build self-esteem, confidence and experience a journey of self- growth, increased academic performance and lifetime theater goals and appreciation.
For 5 days, participants work every day with a Broadway Choreographer, Director, and a Musical Director, and meet with specially invited Guest Professionals who can illuminate students’ understanding of their particular field of expertise in musical theater. The thrill of performing and coming in contact with that special magic of musical theater not only helps them better understand and appreciate Broadway Musical Theater, but also boosts their confidence, encourages their ability to express themselves personally and artistically, and inspires them to become better people. It is an incredible, life- changing experience.

The curriculum offers youngsters in Indonesia a chance to experience, first hand, the best live, Broadway interactive theatre education programs, taught by the best, highly trained Broadway specialists. The goals are to expand and deepen overall academic performance and motivation in all discipline. Through challenging music, dance, language arts, acting and “behind-the-scenes,” students’ studies physically, verbally and intuitively as we prepare them to build self-esteem, confidence and experience an immersive journey of self-growth, increased self-confidence, academic and a lifetime theater appreciation.
For this Summer Program, you can have the chance to experience this program together Abang and None Jakarta Finalists with Passport to Broadway Professional Staff of Broadway Musical Directors, Choreographers, Performers and Directors, as well as Guest Artists from the Broadway Industry directly in Broadway, New York City, United States of America.
This is a rare opportunity for serious and aspiring actors, singers, and dancers to be led by experienced Broadway professionals through the preparation, rehearsal, and performance stages of a unique, customized musical, including over 25 of Broadway’s most popular classical and contemporary shows, over the course in July. This will bean inclusive experience, with a mix of all skill levels, musical theater interest, experience, and age ranges. However, there must be a dedication and serious commitment to raise your skill level through this rigorous program. Interested students preferably will have experience with theater, dance, and/or singing and a strong desire to dedicate themselves over the nine days to move to the next level. Oudpro will screen all applicants in a thorough and comprehensive
manner before acceptance.
The Passport to Broadway program is also connected to exclusive summer programs in NYC. These programs include:

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Passport to Broadway Musical Theater Workshop and Performance is a customizable, immersive and ultimate Broadway educational experience since 2000. Offering Indonesian and International students a chance to experience, first hand, the best live Broadway Musical Theater interactive program taught by the best, highly-trained Broadway specialists and guest-artists.
As part of the program, participants experience Broadway like never before, by working with Top-Broadway Professionals as they rehearse and perform a specially composed medley of Broadway songs and choreography. For a full 10 days, participants together with Abang None Jakarta work every day with Broadway Choreographer, Director and Musical Director and meet with special invited Guests Professionals.

General Description With Passport to Broadway Curriculum & Performance, Indonesia performers will have the opportunity to work hand in hand with the Passport to Broadway Professional Staff of Broadway Musical Directors, Choreographers, Performers and Directors, as well as Guest Artists from the Broadway Industry. The focus will be on process, as well as results, culminating in a final Broadway professional style presentation that will take place for select top Broadway professionals, School faculty, friends and family.
The Final Presentation at end of the learning process includes a compilation of Broadway Musical Theater Production Numbers (Example: from such Hit Broadway Musicals as Hair, A Chorus Line, Miss Saigon, Annie, Ren and Wicked) tied together with an original book that will be customized to reflect the voices of Indonesians

Stephen holds an MFA from the Directing for the Musical Theatre Stage program at The Pennsylvania State University headed by Susan H. Schulman where he directed and choreographed Kiss Me, Kate, Grey Gardens, Altar Boyz and Steel Magnolias.
JEFF MOULTON
Jeff has been working professionally in the arts for more than a decade, performing on stages and screens across the US and his native Canada. Jeff started dance captaining early in his career and has gone on to assistant choreograph and choreograph stage musicals, workshops, and special events.The new musical he Assistant Directed last year at the Atlantic Theater in Manhattan was named a New York Times’ Critic’s Pick and went on to win the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best New Musical.
GABRIELA GARCIA
Gabriela is a native of La Paz, Baja California Sur, Mexico. A former cast member and dance
captain for CHICAGO – The Musical on Broadway and National Tours, she has worked with celebrities such as George
Hamilton, Taye Digs, Usher, Melanie Griffith, Patrick Swayze, Brooke Shields and more. Her musical theater credits include Roman Holiday (Guthrie), West Side Story, Joseph… Dreamcoat, Carousel and the Vienna and Mexico City companies of CHICAGO where she played the role of “Velma Kelly” in their native language.

CORNELIUS BETHEA
Cornelius Bethea has toured the U.S., Canada and Asia with Chicago as Swing and Mary Sunshine understudy. Aside from performing, he cherishes his chances to nurture future talent working with such programs as StudentsLive! in New York City, Rising Stars in Boston, Broadway Connection on tour and as guest choreographer for Stratford High School in Stratford, CT. An avid reader, writer and knitter, Mr. Bethea is thrilled to share this experience with you.

ANDY PERTERSON
Andy is currently a New York based composer, musical director, arranger and orchestrator who has worked internationally in 4 countries. He holds a Bachelor of Music (Composition) from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. He has worked with Broadway performers such as Alice Ripley, Jeremy Kushnier, Sara Gettlefinger, Euan Morton, Randy Harrison, David Abeles, Natasha Williams, Brian Ogilvie and Thos Shipley. He has played and conducted in
international venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Beijing Exhibition Centre, Australian Parliament House & Kula Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. Andy’s musical director/orchestrator/arranger credits include: New York: Atomic, Connections, The Severed Hand of Neverland. Asia: Sinbad: The Musical, Kiss Me, Kate. Australia: Atomic, Bare, Pippin and A Chorus Line.
SETH WEINSTEIN
Seth Weinstein was the musical director and composer of the OffBroadway musical How to Save the World and Find True Love in 90 Minutes (New World Stages, 2006). He has toured internationally with Fosse and Ivan Jacobs’s The Phantom of the Opera and in the USA with Almost Heaven: Songs of John Denver. Regionally, he has been the musical director of Black House (Zagreb, Croatia), Do I Hear a Waltz? (Arvada Center), Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Connecticut Repertory Theatre), and Chick Flick (Loft 227 and Millbrook Playhouse), among other shows. Seth also wrote and recorded “The Chagall Suite” (an eightmovement piano piece based on themes of Marc Chagall’s artworks) and “Conversations” (a musical meeting between Chagall and Elvis Presley), and he has played the pieces in France, Germany, and the USA.

AMY WEINSTEIN
Amy Weinstein is the President, CEO and Founder of StudentsLive, A Global Broadway Education Company for the past 14 years and more recently Artistic Director of Sister Company, Passport to Broadway International. She has been developing, creating, marketing and producing education programs in partnership with some of the finest Broadway Artists and Creative teams since 1998. She has been recognized as a cutting edge and highly effective creative presence within public and private schools nationwide. She has been dedicated to arts and education for the past twenty years. Graduating from New York University with a degree in theater and communication, she began her work early on as a theatrical talent agent and casting director in Hollywood.

Tommy Hilfiger started out in the retail business in upstate New York in 1969. His simple designs, emphasizing his name as the brand, were not considered high fashion, but Hilfiger’s marketing savvy put him at the top of the industry, and by the end of the 1990s his company had revenues of nearly $2 billion a year. In 2004 CBS television
announced plans to air a “reality” show in cooperation with Hilfiger, called The Cut, in which contestants would vie for a chance to design their own line of clothing.
REBA McENTIRE
Reba McEntire is an American country music artist and actress referred to as “The Queen of Country”, having sold 41 million records in the United States and more than 56 million worldwide. McEntire has since released 26 studio albums and rank the second best-selling female country artist of all time in the US. In the early 1990s, McEntire branched into film starting with 1990’s Tremors. She has since starred in the Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun and starred in her television sitcom, Reba (2001– 2007) for which she was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series–Musical or Comedy.
